What are the Membership Dues?

$40 for Members: Attorneys in good standing with the Florida Bar
$50 for an Affiliate Member: Healthcare practitioners such as physicians or nurses
$25 for Law Students

How many member are there in the Health Law Section?

Section membership ranges from 1,600 – 2,000 attorneys residing throughout the State of Florida as well as other states nationally.

Does the section have any newsletters?

Yes. We have newsletters that are sent via email to our members and they can also be found on our website. Newsletter are sent to member in the Winter and again in the Spring.

Do I have to be a member of the section to attend meetings?

No. You do not have to be a member of the section to attend certain meetings, such as the Executive Council meetings.

Do I have to be a member of the section to register for CLE in-person events and webinar?

No. You do not have to be a member of the section to register for CLE events but you do have to pay the registration fee.

Do I have to be a member of the section in order to become Board Certified in Health Law?

No. You do not have to be a member of the section to sit for the Board Certification Exam.
