Current Members

The Health Law Section is governed by an Executive Council and organized into Divisions and Standing Committees. Membership is open to Florida Bar Members in good standing, Law Students, and to others who work in the healthcare industry but are not members of the Florida Bar.

MISSION STATEMENT

Goals of the Health Law Section include:

• providing an organization dedicated to Florida Bar members and others with an interest in health law,
• providing a forum for communication and education leading to increased access to knowledge and understanding of health law issues, and
• serving the bar and the public generally in interpreting and carrying out the professional needs and objectives in the area of health law.
• Providing non-partisan, timely, technical assistance to the judiciary, legislature, and regulatory agencies.
• Serving as an effective means of communication on health law issues to the public at large.
