The Health Law Section consists of approximately 1700 members, eighteen (18) Executive Council Members, and four (4) Officers. Section membership continues to increase at an average rate of about six percent (6%) over the past ten (10) years. The Section's growth is due in large part to an increase interest in the practice of Health Law and the Section's commitment to deliver on its goal of providing a forum for communication and education in the field of Health Law.

Call for Nominations - 2013 |

There will be six seats on the Executive Council that will become open this summer. The Nominating Committee is seeking members who are interested in serving. Nominations are due March 28 and the election is held on June 26. There are typically three or four meetings of the Council per year. Participation by telephone is not available and in person participation is requested. Excerpts from the Bylaws including qualifications for membership are below.
